There’s no guessing why, the luxury condominium is located in the tallest building in New York City, and is seeking a price tag that would see the sale become the most expensive penthouse ever sold in New York. Saudi billionaire, Fawaz Al Hokair is seeking US$170 million, which would make the price in Australia, $225.92 million.
The penthouse is located on the 96th floor and spans over 8,000 square feet. The lux condominium features six bedrooms, a library, designer finishes and the greatest view of New York anyone could ask for. The property also boasts high-end accessories from Louis Vuitton, Bentley and Hermes. Given a pandemic-riddled 2021 has seen New York’s property market take a significant hit, one would assume such a price is unattainable. Real estate agent, Ryan Serhant, who is tasked with selling 432 Park Avenue, will still aim for that $225.92 million price tag.
When purchasing high-end properties in New York, there’s no real difference between other cities like Melbourne or Sydney. Location is everything, and 432 Park Avenue sits in the heart of the concrete jungle. One can enjoy a book and some whiskey while looking out at Central Park. Apartments in New York aren’t known for their generous square meterage, however an apartment spanning over 6,000 feat and boasting luxury fittings like a chandelier that hangs over a custom onyx dining room table, make this a very ‘Gatsby’ property in the heart of New York.
