The street style x sporty king presents a multitude of collaborations throughout his faceted career. Drizzy’s portfolio consists of a Prada collection in 2017 for ‘Boy Meets World’ tour, OVO x Dsquared2 ready to wear street style line, and Drake x Louis Vuitton SS 18 custom soundtrack inspired by then Artistic Director, Kim Jones. Luxury Fashion houses comprise valued reputations of high-end style eluding the finesse of the clients, but when collaborating with Drake, there is an exemption of course. More memorably would be his signed contract with Jordan Brand in 2013, providing design input for the classic Air Jordan 10’s and Air Jordan 12’s inclusive of his OVO logo. NOCTA is a ‘collection for the collective,’ insinuating the ballers, grinders and creatives of nocturnal nature reign inspiration for the labels design brief, focusing on luxe adaptable pieces entailing durability for the daring. The collection surprisingly doesn’t tailor to L.A street-style alone, rather the inclusivity of Drake’s creative ambitions stems from his time in global fashion capitals; Toronto, London and Paris who constitute fashion design by uniform, adding “a real team feel” which is carried throughout the label’s pieces.
“NOCTA is about creating something for people on the move. People who want functional, comfortable fits that are adaptable from one environment to the next. But as much as it’s about what we make, it’s also about a mindset: an unforgiving drive, a relentlessness. The premium designs will be available in two differing colourways: Black and Gold. The tonal pallet although minimal, adds an expensive charm which is likely to appeal across interchangeable consumers. Whilst the collection might not favour our current summer climate, it still alludes to our vast seasonal blunders, reinforcing why the latest pieces must be in our wardrobes pronto.

Set in both tonal pallets with reflective piping details and embroidery of NOCTA x swoosh logos positioned front and back, it features as the forefront of the campaign, striking a high demand of dominance in the Northern Hemisphere. Retailed at USD400, it was a race to the checkout when securing this piece. Alongside the jacket follows chic designs of hoodies, fleece pants and crew socks pairing premium quality x tailored detailing of the tonal pallet throughout the collection, mirroring a consistency of design for a modern luxe pull.
