You Can Now Purchase Snoop Dogg’s Aussie Wine

Cali Red for the dopest spread.

Everyone understands superstars eventually invest their image, money and time in alcohol. For Dwayne Johnson it’s tequila, for Post Malone it’s Rose, and for Snoop Dogg, it’s a red wine in collaboration with an Australian wine company 19 Crimes.

19 Crimes – Cali Red

The new bottle of red is a sourced from Northern California, and is a blend of Petite Syrah, Zinfandel, and Merlot. 19 Crimes dubbed the taste ‘smoky’ with notes of vanilla and chocolate. In other words, drop it like it’s hot. Sorry, we had to!

It will sell for $12 USD, meaning the wine shouldn’t be too pricey for Australians. When talking about the collaboration Snoop stated, “I’ve always enjoyed a glass of wine, and 19 Crimes allowed me to come up with the perfect blend for me. It’s strong, bold, and incredible—just like the D-O-Double-G,”.

Given Snoop’s profile and his mega-star status, it seems like a match made in heaven for the Australian wine company. Snoop’s face and name will feature on the bottle with his autograph scribbled on the neck of the wine bottle.

Cali Red’s taste pays homage to the Venice Beach rapper’s bold rule-breaking persona and ability to overcome adversity. When talking about the collaboration, the Marketing Vice President, John Wardley stated, “Snoop Dogg, an entertainment and California icon, is the perfect partner for 19 Crimes Snoop Cali Red. Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes – rule-breaking, culture creating, and overcoming adversity. We are truly excited to partner with Snoop and welcome him to the 19 Crimes family,”.

The name of the company draws inspiration from the British convicts who made their way to Australia during the penal colony in the 18th and 19th century—19 crimes meaning, the 19 crimes you would be deported for.
