We are no longer just waiting on an album but also a sneaker now.
Everyone is eagerly waiting for Drake’s next studio album to drop, Certified Lover Boy. The album has been a classic victim to the global pandemic. Drake has experienced various set backs in the form of the pandemic and a leg injury (we aren’t sure why this was a set back when he isn’t a basketball player) yet here we are. While we wait for Certified Lover Boy to drop, Drake hasn’t sat on his couch and done nothing. No, the rapper / singer has been busy with his new Nike brand Nocta, adding various additions to his fashion label.
Most of the Nike merch has been a direct marketing tool for Certified Lover Boy, and the album will now receive its very own pair of Nike Air Force 1s. The sneaker seems to be a basic white or cream-coloured sneaker, with a signature Air Force 1 build. The grip on the sneaker features small hearts along the outsole towards the toe instead of the traditional stars and if you look at the midsole, we see “Love you forever” embossed on the lateral side. There’s a tonne of personalisation making this a one-off sneaker for Drake fans to buy and hold. Sneaker heads alike will rejoice at the drop of a premium and limited-edition Air Force 1.
Other Nike merch drawing inspiration from Drake’s next studio album detailed personalised Nike socks with love hearts, Nike hats with red lipstick and T-shirts with the Certified Logo print sprawled on the front. We are waiting for drop details, for now check them out below.
