A recent statement by Nick signified his passion for his hometown, “It’s easy for leadership to say that we are all in this together, whilst their pay remains the same and the rest of the community & small business world suffers.
If we really are in this together; then I believe as leaders we need to show community we are in this together.
That’s why if elected I’ll be donating 50% of my first years salary to mental health.
On top of this my Deputy Michael Burge who has received an OAM for his outstanding work in Psychology & Trauma will be in charge of setting up free online mental health care packages for our community.” Nick Russian
Nick’s plan and motivation comes from his experience as a small business owner. His team, consisting of his wife Rosalia Russian, Tom Caw, Tess Shanahan and various other driven Melbourne knights are shaking up the voting process. A young, up-to-date and social media savvy campaign is propelling Nick Russian to create a major divide between himself and the rest of the competition.
It must be said, Nick’s experience owing small businesses implores an intimate and knowledgable candidate as Lord Mayor of Melbourne. Nick’s need to be a voice for all peoples is one strengthened by his ability to connect with the young, the old and the restless (pardon the pun).
