Ikos Aria On Kos Island Is The Jewel Of The Aegean

    For the real Greek traveller.

There’s no doubt you’ll hear about your friend’s Santorini travels, there’s a high chance you’ll see pictures of white buildings and blue doors. And there’s an even better chance you’ll hear about someone’s trip to Namos beach bar, in Mykonos (even though you didn’t ask).

For the uninitiated this is a perfect trip to the Greek Islands. For those who would actually know anything there is to know about the Islands of Greece, you’ll know there’s heaps of the Aegean that’s beautiful. What a better way to prove our point than Ikos resort, on the island of Kos.

If you think Kos, think about good food, great people and better beaches. Kos has the authenticity most tourists chase for all summer, with half of Santorini and Mykonos real estate and businesses owned by Germans or someone not Greek.

Kos is all about Greek businesses, and authenticity. Ikos Aria resort, a new place to stay on the island, is located next to one of Kos’ not so hidden gems. Kefalos. A beach that truly takes your breath away, and will easily fit on the gram.

Located about an hour from Kos Town, Kefalos is the getaway of all getaways. Think remote, crystal blue water, and sand as soft as velvet. However, most of the beaches in Kos are in fact stone beaches. Jet ski, wind surf, scuba dive or eat fresh seafood by the water. Ikos resort couldn’t be in a better position to cleanse your soul of post-covid frustration.

Rooms are lush and sophisticated, with the traditional Greek touch. Spectacular views of the ocean and a cool summer breeze makes these rooms special. A hint of modernism, and a touch of minimalism, blends together, creating an environment perfect for anyone looking to escape into the hands of summer.

So here’s to our next getaway.
