Music festivals in Australia have a long standing history for showing up at the usual places. Country Victoria, Sydney Myer Music Bowl and Rod Laver Arena are the Melbourne usual suspects. So when we heard a three-day music festival was landing in the Whitsundays we thought ‘hey! this is kind of cool and somewhat epic!’
Dream Machine is the official title for the four-day bash happening in October and pre-packages have already sold out. It would seem a 4-day destination event set across 3 spectacular locations in The Whitsundays – Great Barrier Reef is just what the doctor ordered. The lineup is spread across three different locations, Paradise Cove, Daydream Island and Secret Island. This sounds insane doesn’t it? From the 6-10th of October festival goers will have the opportunity to see some of Australia’s best electronic musical talent. Flight Facilities fit the bill nicely, Hayden James to provide a beach vibe like no other and Melbourne’s own Generik will also strut his stuff on one of the three festival locations.
